And that's why I used hypothesis

OK, we're back to plain ol' osteoarthritis, with a side-order of tennis elbow.

The occupational medicine doc asked a third-party physical therapist to review my condition, and he concluded that I am pretty much over the deQuervain's, but my thumb joints are definitely arthritic. The tennis elbow is just an unwelcome bonus (and he bruised me up pretty bad doing the initial treatment).

It sucks to hear that I've probably got a permanent condition -- newest doc wants to look at the bone scan and blood work before saying anything for certain. I'll probably check back into counseling once I've got word, just to help adjust the ol' brain. :D

Oh, and I'll have to repeat until I believe, "Opening an L&I claim does not make me a failure." Darn early programming about only losers getting help from the state...

My right shoulder that was rebuilt had also had some osteoarthritis. They removed the arthritic bone as part of the rebuild. However, there must be more 'cause I still get twinges (and the other one has gotten the same twinges) but it's nothing like what it was. A little ibuprofen and i'm fine... I get knuckle twinges from time to time, too. I am, however, still fourteen and indestructible. ;o)
